Our Stylist Says
I love this set of two vintage-style light fittings because of their versatile colour palette and characterful design. The antique brass finish adds warmth and a touch of retro charm, making them ideal for both traditional and eclectic interiors. The dark green fern shades bring a pop of colour that works particularly well in living rooms, kitchens, or study areas seeking a cosy yet stylish vibe. They can be styled as statement centrepieces in a neutral setting or layered with other brass accents for an on-trend look. Practical tips include pairing them with vintage or mid-century furniture, and ensuring the shades are positioned to distribute light effectively, creating a welcoming atmosphere without overwhelming the space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
