Our Stylist Says
I love these lights for their clean, contemporary look that adds a touch of elegance without feeling too formal. The clear ribbed glass combined with a satin brass plate makes them versatile, working well in both modern and transitional interiors. They’re especially effective in spaces like hallways, bedrooms, or kitchens where you want a stylish but unobtrusive ceiling light. For styling tips, consider pairing them with other brass accents or neutral tones to create a cohesive look. To maximise their impact, hang them at a height that allows the ribbed glass design to be appreciated, and avoid overcrowding with overly ornate fixtures nearby. They’re a simple yet sophisticated choice that can elevate the overall feel of a room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
