Our Stylist Says
I love the Betchley pendants for their vintage-inspired look that effortlessly blends retro charm with contemporary style. The ribbed globe design paired with antique brass accents makes them a versatile choice, perfect for adding warmth and character to kitchens, dining areas, or even cosy living spaces. They work particularly well in interiors that embrace a mix of old and new - think industrial, rustic, or mid-century styles. Practical styling tips include hanging them at varying heights over a kitchen island or breakfast bar to create visual interest, or grouping a few to make a statement in a neutral-toned room. Their understated elegance ensures they complement both modern sleek interiors and more eclectic, vintage-inspired decor.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
