Our Stylist Says
I love the set of two Betchley pendants for their classic, versatile design that effortlessly combines modern and retro aesthetics. The ribbed glass globes paired with chrome fittings create a clean, understated look that works especially well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, but can also add a touch of sophistication to Scandi or even industrial spaces. For styling tips, consider hanging them above a kitchen island or dining table to add visual interest without overwhelming the space. They also work beautifully in double-drop configurations or paired with other textured materials, such as wooden or matte finishes, to create a balanced, layered look. Their neutral palette makes them an easy choice to complement a wide range of colour schemes.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
