Our Stylist Says
I really like these Betchley clear ribbed globe pendants for their simple yet stylish design, which makes them versatile for a range of interiors. They work particularly well in modern and minimalist spaces, where their transparent ribbed glass adds texture without overwhelming the decor. These shades are great for creating a soft, diffused light, making them perfect for kitchens, dining areas, or even cosy corners in living rooms. To style them effectively, consider pairing with warm filament bulbs for added ambience, and hang them at different heights for an eclectic look or in a cluster over a table for a contemporary statement. Their clean look also means they mix well with brass or black fittings, giving you flexibility to personalise your space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
