Our Stylist Says
I really like these lamps for their sleek, contemporary look and the versatile satin brass finish, which adds warmth and sophistication to a space. They work particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, but can also elevate more eclectic or traditional schemes when paired thoughtfully. Styling tips include using them as bedside lamps for a high-end hotel vibe, or placing them on sideboards or console tables to add height and visual interest. Because of their glass columns, they also suit lighter colour palettes, helping to keep the room feeling airy and bright. To complete the look, consider pairing with soft textiles or metallic accents to create a cohesive, polished setting.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
