Description

Enhance your interior with the striking silhouette of the Series 7 Chair in coloured lacquered ash with a silver-grey base, designed in 1955 by Arne Jacobsen and produced by prestigious manufacturer, Fritz Hansen. Also known as the 3107 Chair, the Series 7 Chair showcases one of the most iconic silhouettes in furniture history. With its signature curved backrest, the chair has become an instantly recognisable feature of modernist mid-century furniture design. Fritz Hansen's bestselling chair, the composition of the Series 7 represents the culmination of the then-revolutionary lamination technique, with its pressure moulded ash plywood frame crafted to showcase the many possibilities of the lamination process. Elevated on stackable, chrome-plated steel legs and available in multiple colour finishes, the Series 7 Chair remains a timeless example of Modernist furniture design.

Our Stylist Says

I love the bold yellow finish of this chair, which makes it a splendid statement piece in both modern and eclectic interiors. The sleek lacquered surface adds a touch of sophistication, while the subtle silver grey underside provides a versatile contrast that works well with neutral palettes or colour-coordinated schemes. It’s practical for everyday dining due to its durable finish and clean-lined design, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of settings - from contemporary kitchens to stylised dining rooms. For styling, consider pairing it with understated dining tables in wood or matte finishes to let the chair’s colour pop, or combine with other vibrant accents for a lively, playful look. A great choice for adding personality without overwhelming a space.
