Enter the design legend with the reissue of the “Series 430” table, created in 1967 by Danish designer Verner Panton. Although most of the maestro's works have acquired iconic status, the design company for his creations, Verpan, and his widow, Marianne Panton, offer us a collection that’s remained relatively unknown to the general public. The “Series 430” table stands out with its broad-edged tray and the original position of its steel legs. The four thin legs are fixed to the outer edge of the tray so that the silhouette is light, almost floating. The MDF tray is covered with Fenix-NTM® thermo-laminate: this ultra-hard-wearing high-tech material is made in Italy using nanotechnology. Used initially as a covering in kitchens and bathrooms, this material has unique properties: including excellent resistance to scratches, abrasion, heat, stains, impact, detergents and solvents. The strength, dimensional stability, inalterability, water-repellent and hygienic nature of the Fenix-NTM® table top make it suitable for a wide variety of uses and environments. It offers very low light reflectivity and has a matt, ultra-opaque surface that does not show fingerprints and feels wonderfully silky to the touch.
I love this round table for its sleek, contemporary look and versatility. The black Fenix-NTM® surface offers durability and a chic matte finish that works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, but it can also add an edge to more eclectic spaces. Its 160cm diameter is perfect for both casual dining and more formal gatherings, while the understated legs make it easy to style with a variety of chairs - from leather to coloured fabric. For practical styling tips, consider pairing it with statement chairs or adding a textured runner for visual interest. Due to its neutral palette, it lends itself to different colour schemes and can anchor a space without overpowering it.
