Designed to be soft under the foot with a woolly touch, the Oxford Shaggy Rug is made with 100 twisted heat-set polypropylene with a deep pile of 5cm will keep your home cosy and stylish. The rug has been treated with colourfast technology, which provides this rug with increased colour retention even after prolonged exposure to the sunlight. This non-shed rug is easy to clean with a shake and vacuum, additionally the stain resistant properties will make your rug a long-lasting statement piece in your living room or bedroom. With its solid constructions, the Oxford Shaggy Rug maintain its robust finish, even after years of extensive use. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
