The iconic shape of the medium Semi Pendant Light in white was conceived by placing two crescent shapes back to back to create a distinctive arch form. Hand-spun in aluminium and finished in a matte white hue, the elegant Semi Pendant Light hangs from a coordinating white cord. The conical shape of the light casts a direct downward glow, making it ideal for over work surfaces or dining tables. Designed by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup and produced by Gubi, the lightness of form and timeless design of this distinctive light meant that it achieved huge worldwide success during the 1980s, when it achieved the status of best-selling Danish design.
