Description
Life in the Great Outdoors: Hi. Ray by Kartell! Kartell loves a technological challenge and is always ready to explore new solutions and materials. As is the case for Hi. Ray from designers Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, the protagonist is metal. This outdoor furniture collection pays tribute to metal, showcasing its lightweight and modern qualities. Designed for life in the great outdoors, the collection uses soldering wire techniques, which also creates plays on sunlight, creating a lightweight 3D design. The whole project is led by a design using metal wires which, when brought together, become rigid and build a structure, characterised by an organic shape composed of a single element. The rigidity of the metal is combined with soft cushions, made using an innovative fabric created from recycled bottles and other PET waste. Outdoor spaces are becoming new living spaces thanks to these elegant and unique pieces that combine aesthetics and functionality, overcoming the border between indoors and outdoors.
