As its title suggests this wallpaper is inspired by a set of embroidered panels depicting the seasons in stitch-work designed and probably also embroidered by May Morris in 1895-1900. Now reinterpreted as a wallpaper Seasons by May features parakeets stylised roses tulips turning stems leaves and flowers amongst a mirrored trellis in shades of saffron yellow red purple and brown. Application Method: paste the paper and then apply wallpaper. Pattern match: Straight drop. Vertical repeat: 45.7cm. Pair this wallpaper with the perfectly matched bedding and throw to tie the look together.
I love the Seasons wallpaper in blue because it effortlessly combines a timeless botanical theme with a vibrant, calming palette. It works particularly well in cosy living rooms, traditional dining areas, or even a feature wall in bedrooms where a touch of nature-inspired pattern can create a focal point. When styling with this wallpaper, consider pairing it with neutral or muted furnishings to let the design stand out, or complement it with antique or vintage pieces for a more classic look. Practical tips include using understated rugs and accessories in similar tones to balance the bold pattern, ensuring the space feels cohesive and inviting without overwhelming the senses.
