Description

Designed alongside the Orthopaedic Advisory Board and handmade in Britain, the Allure soft-to-medium tension mattress features Sealy's one-of-a-kind Rest. Support® coil, along with luxurious comfort layers to give you the ultimate sleep experience. The EcoLux™Comfort. Core® is placed in the centre-third of the mattress and targets the heaviest parts of your body, providing tailored pressure relief to your hips and lower back. It’s paired with a double layer of Gel. Sense® foam which is highly breathable, dynamic and durable, with an open-cell structure that encourages natural airflow and results in a cooler and more refreshing night’s sleep. Rigorously tested, Gel. Sense® is an advanced, halogen-free foam that provides comfort throughout the lifespan of the mattress. An additional 4,000 Micro Coils create a plush, custom-made feel. The individual coils respond to the shape of your body and cradle it while you sleep. Sealy’s Rest. Support® coil This exclusive coil from Sealy works in three stages. First, the surface engages with the body’s contours to nurture your pressure points and restore balance. The core of the coil then senses and responds, to provide deep, orthopaedic support. The patented design allow your spine to maintain its natural alignment and uphold your relaxed posture, as you would expect from a Sealy Posturepedic mattress. The coils are also enriched with titanium for maximum strength and durability. Other key features: UniCased® XT is a superior edge support on this mattress that features air channels to provide a more durable and responsive edge. The bespoke keys lock into the Rest Support® coil to prevent lateral movement and offer greater stability. The cover is woven with specialist fibres, including Micro. Tencel® for advanced moisture control to help keep your temperature controlled throughout the seasons. ActiPro® fibres are also naturally probiotic, so it’s gentle to skin and actively helps to keep allergens at bay. 8 vertical handles around the mattress ensure ease when rotating it. Designed with a glue-free construction and it’s halogen-free foams. The unique Luxe Top design is covered in speciality fabrics and finished with some of Sealy’s signature design details for a luxury finish. We recommend using a good quality mattress protector under your bed linen to protect your new mattress from spills and stains. Plus, to meet the conditions of our 60 Night Comfort Trial, you'll need to purchase a mattress protector in the same transaction as your mattress, and ensure it is used. Browse our range here. Try before you buy This is an important purchase and it’s worth trying your new mattress in one of our shops to make sure it's right for you. About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
