The range’s hand tufted mattresses also feature cooling Sealy Smart Fibres and have knitted covers infused with Purotex® which uses friendly bacteria to combat dust mites and other allergens, and Adaptive®, a textile technology which wicks moisture away faster to create a consistently cool and dry sleeping environment. Mattresses are paired with equally well-constructed platform-top divan bases. Beautifully upholstered, bases are available in a choice of 2 colours and with optional storage drawers, a useful addition to any bedroom. There are 2400 pockets springs in king size – 1000 twice-tempered springs and 1400 individually-responsive mini springs – for excellent support. A thick layer of memory foam, infused with cooling Sealy Smart Fibres, provides pressure relief. The cover of this hand tufted mattress incorporates allergy-combating Purotex® as well as Adaptive®, a moisture-removing technology that creates a cleaner, drier and healthier environment. The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress).
