The range’s hand tufted mattresses also feature cooling Sealy Smart Fibres and have knitted covers infused with Purotex® which uses friendly bacteria to combat dust mites and other allergens, and Adaptive®, a textile technology which wicks moisture away faster to create a consistently cool and dry sleeping environment. Mattresses are paired with equally well-constructed platform-top divan bases. Beautifully upholstered, bases are available in a choice of 2 colours and with optional storage drawers, a useful addition to any bedroom. Headboard is an optional extra. Beautifully handcrafted in Britain, the Sealy Activsleep Memory Pocket 1000 divan set combines hybrid mattress comfort with a stylish upholstered divan base. The accompanying 25 cm deep, medium firm-feel mattress offers the perfect combination of comfort and support. There are 1000 pocket springs, in king size, twice tempered for durability and support. A thick layer of body-contouring memory foam provides perfect pressure relief along with cushioning comfort. Cooling Sealy Smart Fibres ensure that there’s no risk of overheating. The cover is equally advanced. It’s infused with allergen-banishing Purotex® and moisture-evaporating Adaptive®, two smart textile technologies that create a cleaner, drier and fresher sleeping environment that’s ideal for allergy sufferers. Did you know?. The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress).
