They’re also a great choice for allergy sufferers as the soft knitted covers are infused with Purotex®, which releases friendly bacteria to combat dust mites and other allergens, and Adaptive®, which quickly evaporates moisture for cooler and drier sleeping comfort. The accompanying medium firmness mattress, handcrafted in Britain, is 26 cm deep and has 1400 pocket springs in king size layered with breathable and pressure-relieving Geltex, and ultra-comfortable 7 zone foam. Springs are encased in Unirail for edge to edge support. It’s hypoallergenic too – the cover contains dust mite-banishing Purotex® and Adaptive® textile technology, which moves moisture away for a cooler, drier sleeping environment. Product images are representative. Find out more. Did you know?. The mattress should be aired for four hours after delivery to freshen and remove any aroma from storage. It may take time for your mattress to attain its full size once the springs have settled to the correct position. This is due to the mattress being upright during transit. Settlement of fillings and indentations caused by body weight compressing the fillings are natural and not considered defects. This can be minimised by regular rotating (unless yours is a dual tension mattress).
