Description

Sumptuously soft in decadent velvet, our large rectangular velvet cushions are the perfect finishing touch for your space. Complete with a natural linen back, these cushions will make a great addition to your sofa, armchair or bed.

Our Stylist Says

I love this big velvet cushion for adding a touch of luxe to both contemporary and traditional interiors. Its substantial size makes it great for lounging or creating visual weight on a sofa or bed. The velvet finish adds richness and texture, making it versatile for layered styling-pair it with patterned throws or smaller cushions for a curated look. It works well in living rooms with neutral tones but can also serve as a statement piece in more colourful settings. Practical styling tips include combining it with smaller cushions in contrasting textures or colours to play with depth, and keeping the surrounding palette simple to let the cushion stand out. It’s a practical choice that balances comfort with sophisticated style.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
