Our Stylist Says
I really like the Seaford Tall Gold Metal Bookcase for its modern yet versatile look; the combination of gold framing with black shelves makes it a statement piece that can elevate various interiors. It’s perfect for contemporary spaces, especially those with a minimalist or industrial vibe, but it can also add a touch of glamour to more eclectic or glam-style rooms. Practical styling tips include using it to display a curated mix of books, decorative objects, or plants-just be mindful of balancing height and visual interest across the shelves. To keep it looking sleek, try not to overload the shelves and opt for accessories in complementary colours to create a cohesive look. It’s a great piece for living rooms, home offices, or hallways where both style and function are valued.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
