I’m a big fan of the Seaford table for its straightforward oak top and slim black steel legs - it feels modern yet warm. It works just as well in a minimalist city apartment as it does in a Scandi-inspired home, thanks to its clean lines and natural timber finish.
To style it, pair with mixed chairs in matt black or muted grey for a relaxed look, and introduce a simple linen runner to soften the industrial edge. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
