Our Stylist Says
The Seaford bookcase is a sleek, versatile piece that works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, thanks to its clean lines and matte black finish. I love how it can serve as both functional storage and a stylish display area-perfect for organising books, decorative accessories, or even small plants. For styling tips, try layering items of varying heights and textures to add visual interest, and consider leaning art or framed photos on the shelves for a personalised touch. Its open design ensures it doesn’t overpower the room, making it suitable for living rooms, home offices, or even hallways where space is at a premium. Overall, it’s a practical, modern addition that can adapt easily to different spaces and decorating styles.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
