Description

Elevate your interior with our Sculptural Ceramic Vase in Cream, a captivating and artistic piece that adds a touch of elegance to any space. The unique sculptural design creates a visually stunning display, while the creamy hue complements various decor styles. This Scandi-style vase is ideal for styling single stems or decorative branches and looks ideal on any dresser or sideboard.

Our Stylist Says

I love the modern, sculptural shape of this vase - it’s a real statement piece that can work in both contemporary and minimalist interiors. The cream colour makes it versatile enough to sit on a shelf, sideboard, or table without overwhelming the space. For styling, I recommend pairing it with fresh flowers or greenery for a lively touch, or leaving it as a standalone art object for a more pared-back look. It's perfect in neutral-toned rooms, adding visual interest without competing with other decor. Practical tip: due to its distinctive form, ensure it’s positioned where it can be appreciated from multiple angles, making it a true focal point in your room.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
