Description

The Scrape & Sorb Welcome Mat allows you and your guests to scrape the dirt off your shoes before you go inside, and absorbs the moisture! Suitable for indoor and outdoor use with a surface designed for scraping, this attractive striped mat is a simple but effective must-have for your home.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this doormat because of its clean, contemporary look and functional design. It works well in both modern and casual interiors, particularly in minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired schemes where a simple, understated welcome mat complements sleek entryways. The striped pattern adds subtle visual interest without overpowering the space, and the neutral tones make it versatile for various colour schemes. For styling tips, consider pairing it with natural elements like a wooden door or potted greenery to create a welcoming feel. Also, positioning it on a textured or patterned outdoor rug can help define the entrance and add layered visual appeal. This mat is practical too, as it helps keep dirt from coming inside while offering a friendly greeting to visitors.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
