Description
Each Lift Stool is individually hand-thrown in terracotta, inspired by the sprawling view of chimneys from designer Philippe Malouin's London flat. Designed 'for the home', this item can be whatever the user wants it to be ' whether that's a stool, a side table or a striking decorative piece. With two rectangular handles near the top, the Lift Stool can be easily picked up and moved around the house to suit each purpose.

I’m a big fan of the terracotta lift stool for its clean, cylindrical shape and the natural warmth of its fired-clay finish. It works equally well in pared-back modern schemes as it does in more relaxed, boho or Mediterranean-inspired interiors, slotting in as extra seating, a side table or even a plant stand.
To style it, group it with soft, neutral fabrics and natural textures - think linen cushions, a jute rug and a few woven baskets - for a laid-back look. In a more urban setting, try placing it beside a dark metal lamp or sleek shelving unit to introduce an organic counterpoint. Its recessed handle also makes it easy to move around whenever you need another seat or surface.

Heal's is a well-known British furniture store with a history that spans over 200 years. It began in 1810 when John Harris Heal and his son started a business for feather products but soon moved into furniture.
By the 1900s, almost everyone in London knew Heal's for its great furniture. Interestingly, they were also among the first to sell electric lights in Britain. During World War II, their main store even helped by making parachutes for soldiers.
