Our Stylist Says
I really like this Scooby kids bed because of its sleek black plush velvet finish and safety siderails, which make it both stylish and practical for children’s rooms. It works well in modern or monochrome interiors where a bold statement piece is desired, but it can also be softened with colourful bedding or playful accessories. To create a balanced look, consider pairing it with light or pastel walls and cosy, patterned textiles to add warmth and personality. Practical tips include using under-bed storage to maximise space and opting for simple, durable linens that can stand up to everyday use. Overall, it’s a versatile piece that adds a touch of contemporary elegance while prioritising safety and comfort.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
