Description

There's a reason this range is called Schmoozer. Really deep with extra squishy arms you'll feel like you're sitting in the sofa rather than on it. Perfect for schmoozing. The seriously comfy feather-wrapped foam seat cushions are finished off with gorgeous, super-durable fabrics sourced from some of Europe’s finest mills. The solid timber frame sits atop weathered oak feet that take an age to get just right. Designed by Loaf’s in-house design team exclusively for us. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sofa bed for its bold peacock brushed cotton fabric, which makes it a versatile statement piece that can elevate various interior styles, from modern boho to classic contemporary. Its compact 4-seater size is ideal for smaller living spaces or guest rooms, offering practicality without sacrificing comfort or style. To style it well, consider adding textured cushions in complementary shades to enhance its colour and softness, or pairing it with neutral-toned accessories to keep the look balanced. It's particularly suitable in spaces where flexibility is key, as it seamlessly transforms from a comfortable sofa into a bed, making it perfect for multi-functional rooms or occasional overnight guests.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
