Description

Add a refined touch to any minimalist home with the Scalloped Faux Fur Throw in Cream, a piece that combines comfort with eye-catching design. The scalloped texture introduces depth and sophistication, while the creamy shade works beautifully with light or dark colour schemes. Whether used for warmth or decoration, this throw is a timeless addition to your home.

Our Stylist Says

I love this throw for its cosy, luxurious texture and versatile colour. It works well in both contemporary and traditional interiors, adding warmth and a touch of elegance to sofas, armchairs, or the bed. The scalloped edges give it a subtle decorative detail without being overly ornate, making it a practical layering piece. For styling, consider draping it casually over a sofa or folding it neatly at the foot of a bed for a polished look. Pairing it with other neutral tones or textured fabrics can enhance its softness, creating an inviting, restful atmosphere.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
