Our Stylist Says
I love the scallop-edged runner for its subtle texture and timeless appeal. It works particularly well in hallways or entryways where you want to add warmth and a welcoming feel without overwhelming the space. Its natural tone makes it versatile, pairing effortlessly with both modern and traditional interiors, especially those with neutral or earthy palettes. Practical styling tips include layering it over a darker hardwood or tile floor to create contrast, or adding a few decorative accents like a vase or framed print on the nearby console to complete the look. This runner offers a neat balance of functionality and understated style, making it a great choice for busy areas that need to withstand everyday wear.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
