I’m a fan of this marble-top, gold-framed coffee table because its clean lines and neutral palette slot straight into both contemporary and mid-century schemes. The white marble surface lifts lighter sofas and pairs neatly with muted greys or rich jewel-tones, while the slim gold base adds a hint of Art Deco glamour without feeling over the top.
For styling, keep the top clutter-free: a low tray with a small vase of foliage, a couple of design books and maybe a sculptural candle. On a patterned rug or in front of a dark sofa it’ll act as a bright focal point, but it also works in minimal spaces where the marble can really stand out.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
