Description
Extreme simplicity and refinement for this light designed by Nendo. The Japanese designer was inspired by the Japanese style to create a language rooted in his own time. This objective is reflected in clean forms, never lacking a touch of humour and friendliness. The Sawaru table lamp consists of two independent cylinders that touch perpendicularly. One contains the light source while the other serves as a base. The projection angle can be set to 3 positions: 25, 40 and 60 degrees, by inserting the pin attached to the base. Anything superfluous is eliminated to achieve extreme simplification of form. With its large dimensions (L 43 cm), the Sawaru lamp can be placed on the floor (or on a piece of furniture). The integrated LED light source provides functional, economical lighting. Light filtered through an internal polycarbonate diffuser is glare-free. The foot dimmer on the cable is used to adjust the light intensity. Nendo's philosophy is reflected in Sawaru's design: transforming people's interactions with the objects around them by creating an interlude in their lives.
