Description
With his touch imbued with both rigour and poetics, Italian designer and architect Fabio Fantolino is in deep stylistic harmoney with the Wiener GTV Design house. Säul (which means column in German) is a large, rectangular table made up of four turned legs in solid walnut, a thick tabletop made using high-shine laminated HPL with walnut plywood edging. The tabletop has an orange sheen which adds a bold and vibrant style, contrasting the noble and classical aspect of the walnut wood. The rounded corners of the tabletop draw inspiration from the traditional curved lines used by the brand. Rich materials, high standards of quality, exceptional finishes and an original form, all wonderfully characteristic of the Wiener GTV Design spirit. Drawing on the tradition and way of thinking of Michael Thonet, Wiener GTV Design develops products rooted in an innovative, meticulous design process. A team of designers, creators and artisans produces unique products of exceptional craftsmanship. Product sustainability is at the centre of the development process.
