Description

The Saturn Table Lamp maintains a sleek, minimal aesthetic while adding an abstract flare to your home. This black nickel and dark grey lamp looks wonderful in any modern bedroom or living room, creating a simple statement that takes your décor to the next level.

Our Stylist Says

This lamp's modern design with its striking swirl base and dark grey shade makes it a versatile statement piece that works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors. I love how the black nickel finish adds a sleek, sophisticated touch without feeling heavy. It's perfect for side tables or bedside tables, bringing both style and functionality. For styling tips, try pairing it with muted or monochrome décor to let the lamp be a focal point or use it alongside textured fabrics and metallic accents to create a layered, elegant look. Its sculptural form also makes it suitable for stylish office or lounge settings where a contemporary edge is desired.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
