Description

Single Pink Sateen Stripe Bedding Set

Our Stylist Says

This pink stripe bedding set is a versatile piece that adds a soft, welcoming touch to a range of interiors, from classic to contemporary. I love how its subtle stripe pattern offers visual interest without overpowering, making it suitable for bedrooms aiming for a calm and cohesive look. It works particularly well in light, airy spaces with neutral or pastel colour schemes, but can also add a gentle pop of colour when styled with crisp whites or greys. For practical tips, layer it with textured cushions or throws in complementary shades to enhance the cosy feel, and keep the space feeling fresh by pairing it with minimalist furniture and simple bedside accessories. Its satin finish adds a touch of luxury, making it ideal for creating an elegant, yet relaxed atmosphere.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
