This table is a true statement piece, exuding sophistication and opulence. The marble top adds a touch of elegance and grandeur, making it the perfect centrepiece for formal dining occasions. The brass effect frame complements the marble beautifully, adding a touch of warmth and style. Please note this table is made from solid, true marble, which is a naturally heavy material. It can only be delivered to a ground floor room. Please note it is a self-assembly product and we highly recommend having at least 3 people available to move and build the tables safely. We would like to remind our customers that marble is a natural stone, and as such, no two tables will be exactly alike and the product you receive may not exactly match the image shown on our website. Every piece of marble has its own unique variations in colour, veins, fissures and pores, which adds to its beauty and character. Any slight openings in the fissures are normal and not considered a defect. Please follow our care instructions to keep your product in its best condition: As a soft stone, marble can be susceptible to chips, cracks, scratches, and discoloration, so it's important to care for it properly. We recommend cleaning the table with a damp cloth using warm water or a specialist marble cleaner, then buffing it dry. Please remember that marble surfaces are porous, so it's crucial to remove spillages immediately to avoid stains, and we recommend using coasters and place mats to protect against heat and moisture. Do not use knives to cut food on the marble tabletop, use it as a work top, place heavy weights on it, or use acidic or abrasive cleaners. Just like glass, you should never sit or stand on a marble surface.
I’m a big fan of the Sascha oval table for its clean lines and versatile finish - the white marble top and gold-tone base feel at home in both contemporary and modern-classic schemes. Its oval shape encourages relaxed conversation around six chairs, while the smooth surface is easy to wipe clean after dinner. To style it, keep the centrepiece simple: a low ceramic vase with a few sprigs of greenery or a pair of slim candlesticks works beautifully. Pair with mixed-metal accents elsewhere in the room (perhaps a brass mirror or chrome sideboard handles) to tie the look together. And if you want to soften the scheme, add a neutral-tone rug underfoot or cushions in muted jewel tones on your dining chairs.
