The media stand is made of 18 mm thick quality melamine coated particle board and banded with first-class PVC edge banding tape.

I’m a fan of this oak-and-black TV unit for its clean lines and sturdy V-shaped support, which give it a distinctive yet unfussy look. It works well in Scandi-inspired or industrial schemes and slots neatly into a corner or along a low wall. Keep the top uncluttered - centre your screen, tuck cables behind and use the lower shelf for a small stack of books or a slimline box. Finish with a little greenery or a simple ceramic vase and echo the black metal detail elsewhere in the room, for example in a lamp base or picture frame.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
