Our Stylist Says
The Sandy kids bed is a smart choice for contemporary interiors thanks to its plush velvet finish and sleek steel frame, adding a touch of luxury while remaining practical. Its gaslift ottoman provides valuable storage, making it perfect for smaller bedrooms where space is at a premium. I love pairing this bed with neutral or pastel wall colours to let the velvet's soft texture stand out, and adding playful accessories like cushions or fairy lights for a cosy, child-friendly vibe. It works well in modern or minimalist schemes but can also be easily integrated into eclectic or colourful kids’ rooms, lending a stylish yet functional anchor to the space. Practical styling tips include keeping surrounding decor simple to highlight the bed’s plush upholstery and ensuring the safety siderails are utilised for added security.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
