Description

Ready made curtains with a contrast border at the leading edges of the curtain panel. When both curtains are pulled closed, the contrast border meets in the middle. It's also visible on the outer edge of each curtain. Designed with an eyelet header and a daylight lining. The width stated indicates the size of one curtain panel when laid completely flat. This pack contains two panels and the track/pole length we've recommended allows for the two panels to be gathered when the curtains are drawn. For a fuller look, increase the curtain width. One pair of 117cm width curtains will fit a curtain track/pole size 117-167cm One pair of 167cm width curtains will fit a curtain track/pole size 133-167cm One pair of 228cm width curtains will fit a curtain track/pole size 182-228cm Worth knowing... We package our curtains in recycled materials to keep them protected whilst they make their way to you. This means that when they arrive there could be some creases in them. We recommend you hang them for a few days to allow them to flatten and for the creases to fall out. If after this period your curtains still show signs of being folded then follow the ironing instructions on the back of the packaging. Be aware that each style of curtain has different ironing instructions, including heat limitations according to the fabric, so do make sure you follow the guidance provided to get the best results. Our Stylist Says

I love these curtains for their fresh, natural vibe-perfect for bringing a touch of the outdoors inside. The combo of sky blue and kale green makes them quite versatile, working well in both country cottages and modern interiors that lean towards a botanical or earthy theme. They’re lined, which is great for controlling light and privacy, making them practical for living rooms or bedrooms. For styling tips, pair them with neutral walls and simple furniture to let the pattern stand out, or incorporate other leafy textures and accents to create a cohesive natural look. They can really elevate a space that aims for a calming, organic feel.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
