The Fern leaf from which this design takes its name is embroidered to enhance the appearance of the simple pattern. Produced by Sanderson under licence from The National Trust (Enterprises) Limited (a subsidiary of The National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, England and Wales, registered charity number 205846).

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
