I’m a big fan of this diamond-quilted velvet bed in grey because it brings both texture and a sense of calm to a room without feeling over-the-top. The low, slimline frame and slender metal legs work equally well in contemporary, Scandi or transitional interiors, and the neutral shade means you can change your accent colours seasonally without clashing.
Styling tips: keep your bedding crisp and tonal - think off-white linens with a charcoal throw - then introduce one or two pops of colour through scatters or a chunky knitted blanket. Pair it with simple bedside tables in light wood or matte metal, and add a mid-height lamp to balance the headboard’s height. Finally, layer a soft rug underfoot to complete the cosy, pulled-together look.
