Description

Pleasingly robust pair of lined eyelet curtains featuring a fun and funky 50s retro design, with stylised dandelion flowers in bold colour combinations. Eyelet curtains are quick and easy to fit. Match eyelet colour to your curtain pole for a coordinated look. The lining adds the perfect finish, improving the drape of the curtain. The width stated indicates the size of one curtain panel when laid completely flat. This pack contains two panels and the track/pole length we've recommended allows for the two panels to be gathered when the curtains are drawn. For a fuller look, increase the curtain width. One pair of 168cm width curtains will fit a curtain track/pole size up to 198cm. Worth knowing... We package our curtains in recycled materials to keep them protected whilst they make their way to you. This means that when they arrive there could be some creases in them. We recommend you hang them for a few days to allow them to flatten and for the creases to fall out. If after this period your curtains still show signs of being folded then follow the ironing instructions on the back of the packaging. Be aware that each style of curtain has different ironing instructions, including heat limitations according to the fabric, so do make sure you follow the guidance provided to get the best results. Do you need a curtain pole/track and accessories?

Our Stylist Says

The Sanderson Dandelion Clocks curtains are a superb choice for adding a touch of playful sophistication to a room. I love the vibrant aquamarine, mustard, and grey tones, making them ideal for contemporary or retro-inspired interiors, especially in living rooms or bedrooms that could use a pop of colour. These curtains work well in spaces with muted or neutral palettes, offering a lively contrast without overwhelming the decor. Practical styling tips include pairing them with minimalist furnishings to let the pattern stand out, or placing them in rooms with subdued lighting to enhance their cheerful hues. Additionally, the lined eyelet design makes them easy to hang and ensures good insulation while maintaining a sleek finish.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
