Description

The eclectic Samba rug brings together complementary patterns to a stunning effect, harnessing the artisan quality of hand-knotted pieces. Each rug is hand-knotted by our team of specialist rug weavers in North India, and then lovingly distressed using techniques that have been passed down through generations. Approx. W183 x L274cm. 6ft x 9ft. 60% wool, 40% cotton. Hand-knotted in India. Remove spills immediately by blotting with a dry cloth. Professional cleaning is recommended. This product is hand-knotted so the size, colour, and finish will vary.

Our Stylist Says

I love the vibe this hand-knotted rug brings, especially with its vibrant pink hues and eclectic pattern. It works especially well in boho, eclectic, or modern interiors where colour and texture are key features. For practical styling, consider pairing it with neutral furniture to let the rug stand out or mixing with bold accent pieces for a lively, contemporary look. It's also versatile enough for living rooms, bedrooms, or even a stylish home office, providing warmth and interest underfoot. Keep in mind, because it's hand-knotted, it’s a durable choice that can handle daily use, just ensure regular vacuuming and occasional professional cleaning to keep it looking its best.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
