Adorned with a stylised foliate design this crisp white bedding is adapted from a wallpaper pattern by Lewis Foreman Day (1845–1910) produced in London around 1887–1900. The all-over classical leaf & floral pattern has been translated as a woven matelasse fabric. Made with 100% cotton and sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). Available in single double king and super king sizes finished with a concealed transparent button opening along the bottom. Oxford and square single pillowcases each with the same design are sold separately. Machine washable tumble dry safe.
The Samara Textured Cotton Bedding by V&A offers a lovely blend of simplicity and tactile appeal, making it versatile for a variety of interiors. I love its subtle texture, which adds depth and interest without overwhelming the space. It works particularly well in relaxed, neutral bedrooms or Scandi-inspired schemes, where its understated elegance complements natural materials and soft colour palettes. Practical styling tips include layering with different textures - think plush cushions or a chunky throw - to create a cosy, inviting feel. Given its cotton construction, it’s also a sensible choice for maintaining a fresh and crisp look, even after multiple washes.
