The Salerno Shaker bed has a timeless style with refined detailing, constructed from solid white oak, and finished in durable ivory lacquer. Salerno is a beautiful bed that fits with a range of decor, offering outstanding value for money. Featuring a sprung slatted base for extra comfort, and additional mattress life. Available in 90cm, 135cm, and 150cm sizes.

I’m a fan of this shaker-style double bed in ivory because its clean lines and muted finish slot effortlessly into Scandi, coastal and modern-farmhouse schemes alike. The simple headboard rails give you a neutral backdrop for bolder throws or cushions without competing for attention.
For styling, layer crisp white bedding with one or two textured throws in muted greys or soft pastels, then add a couple of scatter cushions in linen or woven cotton to introduce subtle contrast. Pair with light-toned bedside tables, a low-pile rug at the foot of the bed and metallic or wooden lamps to complete a calm, cohesive look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
