We're sure this table will be the heart of your home. Constructed from solid 100 rubberwood, this table is sturdy and durable and will look great while doing it! features and easy-to-operate butterfly extending mechanism. Available in non-extending 4 and 6 seater options too. Why not pair it with any of our modern dining chairs for an on-trend and unique look

Our Stylist Says

I love the Salcombe wood extending table for its clean lines and versatile design, making it a practical statement piece in both contemporary and rustic interiors. Its oak finish adds warmth and texture, pairing well with neutral tones or bold colours for a more personalised look. It’s especially great for flexible dining arrangements, perfect for hosting larger gatherings when extended. To style it, consider layering with a neutral table runner or placing a statement centrepiece to create a focal point. Keep accessories minimal to highlight the natural grain of the wood or add colourful placemats and modern crockery for a styled yet effortless vibe.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
