Hand-tufted by Indian artisans, the Sahil pure wool rug is dense and particularly soft to the touch. Its pattern, inspired by contemporary art, is created by the relief of the textured fibres of different heights. A pure design highlighted by a luminous tone. Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years. Genuine decorative elements offering thermal and acoustic insulation, they add a unique and warm touch to your home furnishings. Product Details • 100% wool • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 3800-4200g/m2 • Pile height: 0.5 to 18mm. Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable fibre. A wool rug is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is normal, because the carpet "bursts" by rejecting its excess fibres. Remove lint by hand as much as possible and never use a vacuum cleaner in brushing mode as this pulls the fibres and tears them out. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little for the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much, always without using the brush.. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended.
