Description
The Safara bench is made from recycled solid teak wood and comes from Indonesia, specifically from the island of Java. Each bench is exclusive and peculiar, with its shades, streaks and perfect imperfections derived from the wood itself. You can use it both outdoors and indoors, even in your bathroom, as it is a wood that is resistant to moisture and derived micro-organisms. Don't worry about the passage of time, it stays just fine!

I’ve been using this solid recycled teak bench as a flexible seating or display piece - I love its clean lines and the warm, weathered grain that brings natural texture without feeling fussy. It suits Scandi and coastal schemes especially well, but its simple A-frame shape can work equally in an industrial loft or a more relaxed boho corner.
Styling-wise, tuck a woven basket or two on the lower shelf for blankets or magazines, then top with a couple of linen cushions or a folded throw to soften the look. In a hallway it’s perfect under a mirror with a slim tray for keys; in a dining area you can mix it with chairs to keep the layout informal and maximise seating.
