I’m a fan of this wide oak chest for its clean lines and mixed-material look - the warm oak fronts paired with the slim black frame and splayed legs give it a subtle mid-century feel. It slots straight into Scandi, industrial or modern farmhouse schemes and holds plenty without looking bulky.
For styling, keep the top simple: a low-profile lamp, a couple of framed prints propped against the wall and a small plant to introduce texture. Inside, use fabric bins or drawer dividers to separate smaller items. Position it under a large mirror or over-sized artwork to balance its width.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
