Description

Create a warm and inviting space within your decor with the Ruched Faux Fur Throw in Tan, perfect for creating a cosy yet stylish setting. Its ruched detailing and plush faux fur deliver a luxurious texture, while the rich tan tone brings depth and sophistication to any decor. This 127x152cm throw is ideal for layering across beds or draping over sofas for a refined finish.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this faux fur throw for adding a plush, cosy touch to a variety of interiors. Its tan colour makes it versatile and easy to incorporate into neutral, warm-toned schemes or layered over contrasting colours for added depth. It's ideal for creating a relaxed, inviting atmosphere in loungers, armchairs, or beds. Practical styling tips include draping it casually over the arm of a sofa or folding it neatly at the foot of the bed for an effortless yet sophisticated finish. The texture adds a tactile element that enhances comfort without overwhelming the space, making it a great all-rounder for both modern and classic settings.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
