Description

Transform your living space with the Ruched Faux Fur Throw in Cream, perfect for styling across beds or sofas to create a soft, inviting look. Its generous 127x152cm size makes it ideal for layering, adding both comfort and visual interest to your decor. The creamy tone brightens interiors beautifully, while the ruched texture introduces a touch of luxury.

Our Stylist Says

The ruched faux fur throw is a fantastic addition to both cosy and contemporary interiors, bringing a layer of plush texture that instantly elevates the space. I love using it in neutral-toned rooms to add warmth and tactile interest, especially on beds or sofas in living rooms and bedrooms. It works particularly well in Scandinavian-inspired schemes or pared-back minimalist schemes where the subtle sheen and soft pile provide contrast without overpowering. Practical styling tips include draping it loosely over the end of a bed for a relaxed look or folding it neatly over a corner of a sofa when not in use. Its creamy hue is versatile, pairing easily with other neutrals or darker tones for a chic, inviting feel.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
