Description

Introduce warmth and texture with the Ruched Faux Fur Cushion in Tan, a chic accent for any room. Its ruched detailing and plush faux fur create a luxurious feel, while the rich tan shade adds depth and sophistication to your decor. Perfect for layering with throws or other cushions, this cosy square cushion brings comfort and style in equal measure.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this faux fur cushion for adding a touch of cosy luxury to a variety of interiors. Its neutral tan shade makes it versatile enough for both modern minimal spaces and more traditional schemes. It works particularly well layered on a neutral sofa or bed to create visual warmth and texture. For styling tips, consider pairing it with other soft furnishings in complementary tones or textures, like linen or wool, to enhance its tactile appeal. It’s also a great size for occasional use on statement armchairs or as a decorative accent on stools. Just keep in mind that while it adds aesthetic warmth, it’s also practical - easy to spot clean and perfect for adding an inviting feel to your living space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
