I’m especially fond of this mango-wood console with its slim metal legs and marble top - it’s a compact piece that still feels luxe. Its clean lines and mixed materials suit contemporary, Scandi-inspired or softly industrial interiors, and the narrow footprint makes it ideal for hallways or the back of a sofa.
For styling, keep it simple: a round mirror hung above will bounce light, while a low vase of fresh flowers or a sculptural lamp adds height without cluttering the surface. Tuck a shallow tray or decorative bowl underneath for keys and mail, and stack two or three coffee-table books to introduce colour or texture. The dark wood grain plays well against pale walls, so consider soft neutrals or a muted accent paint to set it off.
